Elsevier Health recently released a report entitled “Clinician of the Future: a 2022 Report” in which it is estimated that 1/3 of current providers will consider leaving their current position by 2024, of whom 1/2 are contemplating leaving the healthcare profession permanently. One in four providers consider support for wellness is a top priority and one of the top skill sets for the future was estimated to be related to technology capabilities.
